About The Artist

Keith was born in the Island republic of Trinidad and Tobago. Taking an interest in art at an early age he excelled quickly. He attended Siparia Boys Rc where before the age of eleven, he had already received prizes for language arts and Arts. He later attended Fyzabad Anglican secondary after a successful try at the Common Entrance Exams. At Fyzabad Anglican Secondary, he fell under the tutelage of Trevor Byron who have been credited largely for bringing out his artistic prowess. Keith was once awarded a national prize in the Berger painting contest at the age of fourteen. He Graduated with distinction in the arts after completing The Cambridge University (London) O levels. Mr. Smith migrated to the united states in 1987 where he furthered his studies in art, subsequently attending Miami Dade Community College, where he pursued studies in Graphic Design Technology.
To date, Keith has worked recently on a project which has utilized almost all of his broad talent spectrum. Called to collaborate on A T Rex Named Sue, Dinosaur Fossil Exhibit. The exhibit was held by Cayenne Events International, a London based edutainment company, who flew the artist to his native country to work hands on with the coordinators. Mr. Smith worked on the audio visual presentations as well as most of the graphic representations of the different entities and sponsors involved with the project, including Atlantic lng and the Ministry of Education Trinidad and Tobago. Teaming up with his long time childhood friend Derwin Vallie they created the sound track for the exhibit.
